The Danleers

The Danleers was a musical group in the 1950s. They were a quintet hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Jimmy Weston was the lead singer, and the group was named after their manager, Danny Webb, who wrote their most famous number, "One Summer Night". The track was originally released on AMP-3 2115, as being by The Dandleers.

Their one big hit single (and their debut single), "One Summer Night", reached #4 on the Billboard Black Singles chart, and #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958.
