The Damning Well was a rock supergroup comprising Wes Borland (of Limp Bizkit) on guitar, Danny Lohner (formerly of Nine Inch Nails) on bass, Richard Patrick (of Filter and Army of Anyone) on vocals, and Josh Freese (of A Perfect Circle, Suicidal Tendencies, The Vandals, and Guns N' Roses) on drums. The group has only released one song, "Awakening", on the Underworld movie soundtrack in 2003, even though an album's worth of material was apparently recorded with producer Terry Date.
Borland, Freese, and Lohner also created another band, Black Light Burns. It is often considered to be a spiritual successor to The Damning Well and contains bit and pieces of their work (See: Coward)
