The Daily Local News

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Daily Local News is a daily newspaper that covers events in Chester County, Pennsylvania, with limited coverage in neighboring Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Delaware County, Pennsylvania due to school districts and interscholastic league coverage in these two neighboring counties. First published in West Chester, Pennsylvania in the 1800s, the newspaper is currently owned by the Journal Register Company. Unlike most of the local papers in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, its political coverage has traditionally leaned more to the right due to the heavy Republican Party dominance in the county, despite of the Democratic strongholds in both Coatesville and West Chester.
