The Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Company (第一生命保険相互会社 Dai-ichi Seimei Hoken Sōgo-gaisha?), or Dai-ichi Life for short, is the third largest life insurer in Japan measured by revenue, only behind Japan Post Insurance Co., Ltd. and Nippon Life Insurance Company.

It is also the oldest mutual insurance company in Japan, founded on September 15, 1902.
