The DHDFD's are a four-piece New Zealand rock band who formed during the summer of 2005 in the Point Chevalier area of Auckland. They released a five track E.P. "Pastor of Muppets" in September 2006 which has subsequently sold out. They then went on to record a video for their single Pompino's Magical Blast which received reasonable coverage on Alt Tv. Since then however the band dismissed their original drummer and rhythm guitarist in a move some speculate was to garner attention and boost their image. the band remains one of the more popular bands on the auckland indie scene, gigging with the likes of white birds and lemons, the Mint Chicks, The King Brothers, the coshercot honeys and many others.
