The Curse Of Tutankamen is a play featured in an edition of the Morecambe & Wise Show in 1972 and features veteran actor Robert Morley on the trail of the elusive boy king; typically with a play of its type, the plot soon descends into chaos, with the mummy being prized open and found to contain a packet of salt and vinegar crisps and fan belt, among other things. It is notable for featuring regular cohort Janet Webb in the role of Tutantessie (a twist on Two-Ton Tessie, the stage name of the entertainer and comedienne Tessie O'Shea and the play closes with a suitably comedic sand-dance.
