[edit] Plot
This climactic paperback has Hellboy and Roger the Homunculus confronting a Nazi space capsule returning to Earth with a terrifying passenger of apocalyptic proportions. Herman von Klempt, the Nazi head-in-a-jar, has a major part in this. An alien also tells Hellboy of his past, his destiny, and keys to defeating this phantom menace. The popular character Lobster Johnson also makes his debut appearance in this collection (but second appearance in a comic) as a spiritual guide for Roger.
