The Conjurer
Hieronymus Bosch, 1500s

The Conjurer is a Hieronymus Bosch painting from the 1500s. It is currently in the Musée Municipal in St.-Germain-en-Laye.

It is worth noting that, while the conjurer on the right of the image is the central character, the true focus of the image is on the left -- where the bespectacled character is stealing the observer's money purse. The child by the table is holding a stick which identifies him as the Christ Child, the same figure appears in Boche's work Christ Child with a Walking Frame
