The Competition Bureau is the independent Canadian government law enforcement agency responsible for administration and enforcement of the Competition Act, Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act, Textile Labelling Act and Precious Metals Marketing Act. The agency is headed by the Commissioner of Competition. The current Commissioner of Competition is Sheridan Scott, since January 2004.
