The Committee may refer to any of the following:
- The Committee Theater, a San Francisco based improvisational comedy group formed in 1963. Located at 622 Broadway in San Francisco's North Beach, the revolving group of players presented satirical political comedy at that location until 1972. Famous alumni include improv guru Del Close, founding member Kathryn Ish,[1] Howard Hesseman who later went on to play Dr Johnny Fever on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, and Peter Bonerz, later to play orthodontist Jerry Robinson on The Bob Newhart Show, before becoming a director. The Committee also hosted an early performance of The Warlocks before they became The Grateful Dead.
- The Committee (also known as Committee), a London based group which engages the public environment through the use of signage, leafleting and creative bureaucracy.
- The Committee, an independent film directed by Peter Sykes in 1968 featuring a performance by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and a soundtrack by Pink Floyd.
