The Colors were an influential rock and roll band based in Detroit, Michigan. Co-founded in 1984 by high school classmates Dan Manion (guitar, lyrics) and Scott Solo (bass). Pat Pantano (drums) and Charles Manion (vocals) filled out the lineup. Then in 1986 Dave Sylvester (bass) took over after the sudden death of Scott Solo in an auto accident.
