The Coffeyville Journal is five-day (Tuesday through Friday, plus Sunday) daily newspaper covering the city of Coffeyville and surrounding areas of Montgomery County, Kansas. It is owned by the Sumner family, owner of four Oklahoma newspapers. Along with two additional Oklahoma papers, the Sumners purchased the Journal from Community Newspaper Holdings in October 2007.[2][3]
