The Clown at Midnight is a 1998 horror film that remained without sequels.

The mother of teenager Kate was killed, in an opera house, by the lead from a performance of Pagliacci.
After the murderer was thought to have fled to Europe, the opera house remained closed until, years later, a group of teenagers, including Kate, come to restore the old building. When the group visits the crime scene, they discover a still-wet patch of blood and Kate begins having visions of her mother's murder.
Thereafter, the titular clown, never having left the opera house, begins the bloody decimation of the group.

Location The movie was filmed in Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada at the Walker Theatre in downtown Winnipeg.In the scene near the end on the rooftop you can see in the backgound the Richardson building and the TD bank towers at Portage And Main.
