The Clockwork Cabaret
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Clockwork Cabaret is a weekly steampunk radio program that began in January of 2008. With the opening theme of "Tick Tock", the hosts, sisters Emmett Davenport and Klaude Davenport, who started the program as a tribute to their deceased parents, they play a variety of music that they refer to as "The Music o' Gears", an anachronistic style of music that harken to the days gone by or never were.
The Davenport sisters are an amazing duo, despite the many trials and tribulations that they have suffered since the death of their parents, Elsbeth and Michel. Their parents were scientists - their mother, Elsbeth an expert in Pyrotechnics, Engineering and a wonderful seamstress, their father Michel an expert in Optics, Astronomy and a great chef. They built the airship, Calpurnia, for their family to traverse the skies.
At the time of their deaths, their parents were working with Professor Lumenoskovitch on a secret project in St. Petersburg, Russia, while Emmett was in Moscow doing research for their project. A few days after the accident, strange men from an organization called CLANNG appeared asking Emmett questions about her parent's experiments, she told them that she knew nothing, they let her go, but it was only to let her lead them to whatever they were looking for. She then traveled to Scotland to tell her sister, Klaude, of their parent's death.
And that is when their adventures began...
