The Clique is an upcoming film is based on the novel of the same name by Lisi Harrison. It is a Warner Premiere production, and it began filming in February 2008 in Rhode Island and filming ended on March 2008. It is set to be released on DVD in the fall of 2008 and is a straight-to-DVD movie.

The Clique is about four seventh graders (Alicia, Massie, Dylan and Kristen, known as the Pretty Committee) living in Westchester, New York who attend a girls only school called Octavian Country Day School (OCD). When Claire moves to into Massie's guest house, the girls' perfect world is turned upside down. With her Keds shoes, Orlando style, and Gap overalls, Claire is referred to by the Pretty Committee as an LBR or Loser Beyond Repair. Massie Block is the alpha of The Pretty Committee and controls everything. No one challenges her and no one dares to offend or harm her because she will strike back -- and better. Alicia is the beta and Spanish beauty of the Pretty Committee, Dylan is the clown and funny one of the group, and Kristen is the scholar and athlete who attends OCD on a scholarship.

Sugarloot hosted a Clique contest in September, where five girls went to Los Angeles, California for an audition. Juliana Parinello was the winner and will play Debby Weezer, a girl on the bus who has allergic reactions to a brand of lipgloss called "Glambition" (a line of makeup created by the Pretty Committee for Kristen's class project). Clique author Lisi Harrison named the character after a close friend. She said her name is Debby Weezer, or "Dweezer" for short.
- Massie Block (Elizabeth McLaughlin) - The leader of the Clique (also known as the Pretty Committee), and the unofficial leader of the social part of Octavian Country Day School, an exclusive Westchester private school, where she is a revered figure.
- Alicia Rivera (Samantha Boscarino) - She looks more mature than the other girls, and is the daughter of former supermodel Nadia Rivera. She is very beautiful and sneaky. Alicia is also the beta in The Pretty Committee
- Dylan Marvil (Sophie Anna Everhard) - A redheaded girl with curly hair and jade-green eyes. She is constantly on diets and is the daughter of the famous Meri-Lee Marvil, host of the popular talk show The Daily Grind.
- Kristen Gregory (Bridgit Mendler) - An athletic blonde who attends OCD on a scholarship. Both of her parents are extremely strict.
- Claire Lyons (Ellen Marlow) - A tiny blue-eyed blonde who relocates from Orlando to Westchester.
- Layne Abeley (Vanessa Marano) - Claire's food-obsessed best friend. She has mousy brown hair and narrow green eyes, and is Claire's first friend at OCD. Massie often refers to her and her friends, Meena and Heather, as Losers Beyond Repair.
- Todd Lyons (Dylan Minnette) - Claire's ah-noying little brother.
- Vincent (Stephen Guarino) - OCD art teacher.
- Kendra Block (Julie Lauren) - Massie's mother.
- Chris Abeley (Keli Price) - Layne's attractive older brother. Chris enjoys riding horses as does Massie.
- Jenna Drezner (Shelby Stanton) - 7th grade wannabee, wears tiny tops.
- Mr. Abeley (Chris Conte) - Father of Layne and Chris.
- Merri-Lee Marvil (Lisa Masters) - Mother of Dylan Marvil. She is the host of the very popular morning show The Daily Grind.
