The Chittlin' Circuit 1.5 is an official mixtape by North Carolina hip hop group Little Brother. It was created to promote their 2005 album The Minstrel Show. The group decided to re-release it with new and remastered songs after Atlantic Records delayed the release of The Minstrel Show.

[edit] Concept

The "Chitlin' circuit" has been associated with blues and soul music for decades. The original chittlin circuit was a string of music venues in the south that sold chitterlings and other soul food dishes.
