The China Navigation Company Limited is a merchant shipping company based in Hong Kong in China. It was founded by John Swire in 1872, to offer paddle-steamer services on the Yangtze. It grew to be a large shipping company in the early 20th century, and survives today with a small fleet of container ships and general cargo ships. It is owned by the large John Swire & sons Ltd. company (known as Taikoo in China). China Navigation is often known as CNCo.
