This renaissance building is situated in Lamac, borough of Bratislava (the capital of Slovakia).

The people who lived in Bratislava built the chapel from gratitude because the plague was finished in years 1678 - 1679. The chapel was not re - built but people did only small repairs which are needed for every buildidng . The people just changed orriginal cross because the cross was demaged by thunderbolt at the beginning of 20.th century.

The chapel is sacred of saint Rozalia. She is a patron against plague. She was born in wealthy family. When she was an adult she left family house. She decided to live by wandered life. Rozalia died on 4. th September, 1160. She became the symbol fight against indulgence. She is the ideal of selfcontrol. She is often shown as a sleeping lady in the cave with a lot of colorful and flourishing roses.

Every year, there is a festival on the day of her death. This is a tradition which is celebrated every year during many centuries. The aunts bake cakes, the music is on, the priest celebrates ceremonial mass and everybody is happy.
