The Cassandra Complex were an influential rock group formed by Rodney Orpheus in 1984, in which year they also released their first single. Over the years, the band's sound has included elements of EBM, Industrial, Goth Rock, new wave and synthpop. The ever-changing line-up has featured Rodney as the only permanent member. The most recently line-up of the group featured Volker Zacharias, also in Girls Under Glass.
In 2007, the band played several shows in Europe with its original lineup.
