The Cape Canaveral Monsters is a grade-Z 1960 sci-fi film written and directed by Phil Tucker, who had also directed Dance Hall Racket, written by and starring Lenny Bruce in 1953. This tale of aliens taking over and reanimating human corpses, then kidnapping, torturing, and dismembering teenagers while plotting to sabotage America's rocket launches, is something that many people find simply has to be seen to be believed. Katherine Victor, whose career in schlock movies spanned almost fifty years, creates a fascinatingly maternal yet malevolent character in "Nadya," striking an appallingly accurate chord not seen in films every day.
