The Call-Up are an independent rock band formed in 2002 (Formerly Known as "Undecided") by Iain Ferguson, Matt Lapin, Patrick Rody and Mike Ferguson. The name change came following a reviewer's choice of name given to them when they had none and became tired of it.

The Call-Up have been making a name for themselves on the East Coast of Canada with a strong EP titled "Into Something" (Undecided) with songs like "I'm Gonna Steal Your Girlfriend" and "I Think We've Got It Made" playing in such bigger cities as Moncton, Halifax, and Charlottetown

[edit] History

Since 2002, The Call-Up have toured the East Coast of Canada opening for such hit acts as Sloan, The Trews and The Joel Plaskett Emergency while also playing alongside other indie bands like In-Flight Safety, Jill Barber, and former Eric's Trip member Julie Doiron. They have also played several big East Coast gigs as the East Coast Music Awards in Charlottetown, P.E.I. and The North by North End festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In March of 2005, with the help of former member of The Super Friendz, Charles Austin, The Call-Up recorded their self-titled EP as "Undecided" in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Austin's Ultramagnetic Studio. Although the band contributes, Vocalist Iain Ferguson writes most of the new songs, continuing to pump out pontenial hits like the fan favourite, "Looked for a Fight".

Following in true East Coast tradition, The Call-up plan to re-locate their catchy pop-rock sound to Toronto in the fall of 2006 following their first province wide tour beginning in Halifax to Buffalo, New York while crossing the Quebec and Ontario area.
