The Caledonia Mission is an American rock band comprised of brothers Anthony and Angelo Lamarca who write and record their own music. However, when performing live, they enlist a revolving group of fellow musicians and friends to play along. Anthony and Angelo are originally from Youngstown, Ohio and now reside in Brooklyn, New York.
The Caledonia Mission cites influences ranging from Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, and The Band to current musicians such as Ryan Adams and Wilco.
Currently the band has two albums in circulation, "End of August" and "The Name of the Horse", along with other recordings that can be downloaded from their Web site.
