The Burning Ground (referred to by fans as TBG) is a rock band in Houston, Texas consisting of Charlie Ray (guitar), David Nicholas (vocals), Casey Cowling (drums), and Channing Sall (bass).

Since their formation in early 2007, the band has played numerous shows at local Houston area venues including Javajazz, Fitzgeralds, and the Scout Bar, and have had several songs featured on the Houston radio station 94.5 The Buzz, on Zakk United's show, The Texas Buzz. They came in 2nd place for a contest to play with Godsmack, and recently played with Wes Borland's band, Black Light Burns at the Scout Bar. On July 11th, 2008, the band will play a dual CD Release show with local Houston rock band "Dine Alone".

This is the first song The Burning Ground ever recorded/released to the public. It is also the first song they ever played live. This song was originally recorded before anybody but the band members and their friends and family knew about the band.
