The Buried Life, commonly referred to as TBL, is a Canadian/American multimedia production company. It was formed by four university students from around Canada.
TBL filmed their first full feature documentary in the summer months of 2007 (August to October). The documentary is currently titled "100 Things to do before you die." It tells the story of four friends who make a list of 100 things to do before you die and their journey across North America to accomplish it. The film was shot throughout Canada and United States including: Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia and Washington.
The Buried Life explores the question "What do you Want to do Before you die?". The idea for the name originated from an 1852 Matthew Arnold poem entitled "The Buried Life".
