"The Bright Ambassadors of Morning" is a song and single by the British new prog band Pure Reason Revolution from the mini-album Cautionary Tales for the Brave. It was their second single and their first release on Sony BMG, via their own imprint "Holograph". It peaked at #68 in a national chart,[1] slightly higher than their previous single "Apprentice of the Universe" (which peaked at #74) and was later released on their debut album The Dark Third. Unlike most of the band's material, which is composed by the band's lead singer and guitarist Jon Courtney, "The Bright Ambassadors of Morning" also features the work of now-departed singer and guitarist Greg Jong, with the title coming from a line from the Pink Floyd song "Echoes" from their 1971 album Meddle.
