"The Bridge Is Over" is a 1987 song by Boogie Down Productions from their album Criminal Minded. It is performed by KRS-One and produced by Scott LaRock as well as KRS-One. It is considered to be a classic diss song. [1]. It dissed MC Shan, Marley Marl, the Juice Crew and the rappers from Queens, NY and the Queensbridge projects. It helped contribute to the end of the career of MC Shan. [2] [3] It was the most famous song out of the bridge rivalries between rappers from the Bronx and Queens, along with the song "South Bronx" also by Boogie Down Productions from the same album.
