The Breadweather Biologists

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Breadweather Biologists are a dark cabaret and anti-folk band from Massachusetts. The band is fronted by Kelsey Jarboe, who plays accordion, kazoo, kitchen appliances, and found objects. Other members of the band change with the tides and whatever works for the song in question.

Kelsey records her own music at home. Albums are also self-produced and released on her own record label, Vaudeville Records.

A typical live show generally involves improv, and Kelsey defines Breadweather Biology as "the art and science of flying by the seat of your pants".
