The Boy Is Mine is the second album by American singer Monica, released in the United States on July 14, 1998 (see 1998 in music) over Arista Records. The album featured production by Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri and Dallas Austin and peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200. The Boy Is Mine contained six singles, including the title track duet with Brandy, "The Boy Is Mine, "The First Night", "Angel of Mine", "Street Symphony", "Inside" and "Right Here Waiting. The song, "For You I Will" from the Space Jam soundtrack was also featured on the album. The album has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide but is certified 3x Platinum.
