The Bodysnatchers is an original novel written by Mark Morris and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Eighth Doctor, Sam and the Zygons from the 1975 television serial Terror of the Zygons. They have also appeared in the Tenth Doctor Novel Sting of the Zygons. This story also reintroduced Professor Litefoot from The Talons of Weng-Chiang. Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, the way the plot fits in to the ongoing story of television series is open to interpretation. See Whoniverse#Inclusion and canonicity
