The Blue Cross is the name of an animal charity in the UK.
The Blue Cross is a registered UK animal welfare charity founded in 1897. The charity provides support to pets and their owners by treating pets whose owners cannot afford private veterinary treatment, finding permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned animals, educating the public in responsible animal ownership.
Its aim is ensure the welfare of animals by providing practical care. The Blue Cross works to highlight the benefits of companionship between animals and people and promote a sense of respect and responsibility towards animals in the community.
The charity works closely with a number of organisations to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
