The Blizzard of 78 is a Boston/Providence based five piece rock band. Comprising of ex-Delta Clutch members, they have opened for the likes of Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and Guster.

Their first album in 2006, Where All Life Hangs, achieved critical acclaim in the Northeast. Tonya Donnelly contributed a guest vocal to the album, and it won several [Motif Magazine] awards in 2007.

In May 2007 they had a song included on the tribute to the Clash's legendary album Sandinista!, featuring the legendary Mikey Dread toasting on their track, Silicone on Sapphire.

They are currently working on their second full length follow-up, tentatively scheduled for a Fall 2007 release.
