With full-bodied guitars and well-moulded melodies, they blend elements of late-70s punk, 80s alternative and touches of post-punk and garage rock revivalism for a rock-solid, nearly timeless sound.
[edit] Everyday is a Sunday Evening
The Blackouts' debut 10 song CD. They have an amazing and energetic stage show; not to be missed live, and not to be passed up when thinking of some new music to pick up... great vocals, great guitar work, solid drumming and tight, driving bass lines. Then throw the 60s feeling of the bass driving you to the beach or to the city to hang out with your new squeeze. The new indie rock, the new mod rock. 60s influenced Mod Rock a la The Who/The Stooges/ but with more angular guitar work. Sometimes reminiscent of "Green Mind" era Dinosaur Jr Fans of The Strokes and The White Stripes will this album.
