The Black Sun (James Twining)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Black Sun is a 2005 fictitious novel by British author James Twining dealing with Nazi mysticism and stolen Jewish art.
It is interesting to note that the Wewelsburg castle Schwarze Sonne mosaic and symbol is facing the wrong way both in the way it is described in the novel and in the cover design. The reason for this is not mentioned in the book although on his website, it is claimed that this "was a deliberate design decision by the author to subvert the original to indicate that he rejected everything that the symbol represented."[1]
