The Big Picture (production company)

The Big Picture is a film and video production company based in San Rafael, California. Founded by cinematographer/director George Lang, it is structured to provide its production staff with a range of industry experience. The Big Picture works in film, Beta SP, Digi Beta, DV, HD, and 24p formats, and has produced, among other mediums, primarily corporate videos, live events, and episodic television.

- George Foster Peabody award (1995), received for an ABC News documentary on the Rwandan Refugee Crisis. The piece also received an Emmy (1995) and was accepted into the Manhattan Museum of Television.
- Emmys for Paradise Lost (1989), a documentary for PBS and ABC regarding the repopulation of ground zero nuclear testing, and the Rwandan Refugee Crisis (1995).
