The Big Four (WWI)

The Big Four refers to the formal group of diplomats assembled at the end of World War I. It was comprised of Woodrow Wilson of the United States, David Lloyd George of Britain, Vittorio Orlando of Italy, and Georges Clemenceau of France. [1]

These diplomats met in France from January to June of 1919 in order to reach an agreement on what reparations and actions were to follow World War I. This group concluded with the Treaty of Versailles and Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points.[2]
