The Bible Code: The Quest

The Bible Code: The Quest is a book, published on 17th October 2007 by Orion Publishing, written by Michael Drosnin[1]. It is the third book in The Bible Code series.
The book appears to expand on a theme from The Bible Code II: The Countdown, about the search for an obelisk in the Lisan Peninsula, which could unlock the code completely, suggesting that the Code was written by extraterrestrial life (which he claims also brought the DNA of the human genetic code to Earth) and that the alien who brought the code left the key to the code in a steel obelisk. Drosnin attempted to find this obelisk and explain why the Third World War didn't begin in the year of 2006.[2] Drosnin, in The Bible Code II, suggested the possibility of nuclear holocausts and the destruction of major cities by earthquakes in 2006, saying that "The dangers will peak in the Hebrew year 5766 (September 2005 - September 2006 in the modern calendar), the year that is most clearly encoded with both 'World War' and 'Atomic Holocaust'". These events did not occur, casting serious doubt on the whole paradigm.
As of December 2007 the book is unavailable, and there is no indication that it will go on sale in the near future.
