The Best of M People is the first greatest hits album released by M People, in 1998. It features 17 tracks, 10 top ten hits and three new songs. A limited edition included a bonus live album which featured eight tracks recorded live at the Later with Jools Holland M People special, plus enhanced content.

There was also an advanced sampler called Classic available and also a promo containing the same content as the bonus live enhanced CD but with more sound excerpts and full videos.
