The Best of Dottie West is the name of a Country music album, released by Liberty Records in 1984, to promote all of Dottie West's work under their record company during the past four years.
This album is an overview of all of Dottie West's biggest hits under Liberty records from 1979 to 1984. The album includes her two No. 1 hits she made as a solo artist ("A Lesson in Leavin'" and "Are You Happy Baby"), plus the chart topper with Kenny Rogers ("What Are We Doin' in Love"). The album also includes her Top 20 hits from that time period also. This album was made because this was West's last year under Liberty.
