The Best of Motörhead is a compilation album released in 2000 by the British Heavy metal band Motörhead on the Sanctuary Records subsidiary Metal-Is label. It is the only 'best of' album currently available that is fully endorsed by the band, and was produced with their help. They also endorsed the 5CD box-set "Stone Deaf Forever!". Lemmy also made the track selection and added sleeve-notes for "No Remorse" (1984), becoming involved when it became apparent that the label (Bronze) would put it out regardless of it receiving his blessing or not.
