"The Ballad of Ronnie Drew" is a single by U2, The Dubliners, Kila, and A Band of Bowsies [5]. The single is a charitable project, as a release in Ireland only, for Ronnie Drew's current condition of cancer [6]. It was recorded at Windmill Lane, January 14th and 15th, 2008 [7]. All profits from the release of this single will go to the Irish Cancer Society at the request of Ronnie Drew [8]. The Ballad of Ronnie Drew is now available as a CD in Ireland only. [9]
