The Bald Truth

The Bald Truth is a weekly talk radio show hosted by Spencer Kobren, founder and president of the American Hair Loss Association. The show is two hours long and airs every Sunday night at 5PM PT/8PM ET from the Westwood One studios in Los Angeles, California.
Host Kobren is also a best-selling author, having published the books The Bald Truth: The First Complete Guide to Preventing and Treating Hair Loss, and The Truth About Women's Hair Loss.
The show itself has been on the air for more than eight years and nationally syndicated for six. Unlike many radio talk shows that focus on a specific subject or human ailment, The Bald Truth does not try to sell any particular products on the air. The author does not even promote his books, except for the occasional mention in passing when introducing himself to new listeners. The subject matter of the show does not always stick to hair loss, as much is talked about regarding men's lifestyle and sex life.

The Bald Truth is heard on a few AM and FM stations around the United States and nationally on Clear Channel Communications' XM Radio channel Extreme 152, although the station list is never kept up to date and the affiliates change frequently. The show is also streamed on Stickam every week at their profile.
Spencer Kobren also produced a show for ex-affiliate WJFK-FM titled Highway Justice.
