The Bakers Arms pub, located in the Leicestershire village of Blaby, is the second oldest licenced building in England. The oldest building is the Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem in Nottingham. It dates back to 1485, and was previously a bakery. It was a managed pub until 2001, when John and Anne Batten took over tenancy. Then in Oct 2005 Ernie Page took over and is still there now. The pub continuously wins the Garden competitions and has a large petanque pitch in the beer garden.
