The Aviator the original soundtrack album of the 2004 film The Aviator starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett and Alan Alda. The original score and songs are composed by Howard Shore.
The album won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Original Score" and was nominated for a Grammy Award: "Best Score Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media". There is also use of orchestral works, such as Bach's Fugue from the Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
