The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman is a 1971 novel by Ernest J. Gaines, whose narrator, a 110-year-old African-American woman named Jane Pittman, tells about her life. The novel was later made into a television movie in 1974. The TV movie currently distributes through Classic Media.
