The Aquabats Super Show! is a television series currently in production by The Magic Store and Wild Brain, and created by Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz, who both created the successful children's television series, Yo Gabba Gabba!. It is based on the fictional universe of the band The Aquabats, of whom Jacobs is the frontman.
Early production took place in January 2008, with location filming around Orange County and a fan-only free gig for concert footage at the El Rey venue in Los Angeles. A teaser trailer for the series was released on YouTube and the band's website[1] in June 2008.
