[edit] Band history

After the break-up of their former band, Roxie, singer/guitarist Jim Keaney and drummer Ted Carlson began writing and recording songs with roommate/guitarist Scott Morganella (Junction 18) in their Quincy MA apartment. With the addition of friends Vietnam Le on bass and Roger Lussier on synthesizer, The Appreciation Post soon released their debut DEMO in late 2005 and began touring, quickly building a dedicated fanbase opening for bands including Dashboard Confessional, No Trigger, The Forecast, Koufax & Mando Diao.

After Morganella left the band in early 2006, The Appreciation Post invited Brad Herrick to play guitar with the band on their East coast / Midwest tour that July. Herrick had been playing guitar for The Appreciation Post until February '08.
