The Appalachian

The Appalachian, located in Vernon Township, New Jersey, United States, is the centerpiece hotel/condominium property at Mountain Creek as part of their master planned village. The Village will feature shops, restaurants, ski-in / ski-out hotel-style condos and underground parking. When completed, the Village at Mountain Creek will have up to 1,000 resort homes on land along both sides of Route 94.
The construction of the Appalachian commenced on December 12, 2003. The hotel was open in time for the 2006-07 ski season.
Mountain Creek is a ski resort and water park, owned by the Canadian company Intrawest, Vernon is in Northern New Jersey near the border of New York in Sussex County about 1 hour from New York City.
The Appalachian's units have been completely sold out. The condo units are not full time residences.
The Appalachian is located at the Vernon base of Mountain Creek at the end of a ski slope and near many chairlifts.

The lobby features high ceilings with wood beams, wrought iron detail and a crackling stone clad fireplace. There is an owners lounge with a fireplace, a fitness center, a four-season swimming pool, two steaming hot tubs and a spectacular, and a private courtyard, set in natural surroundings. Condominiums come in studio, one, and two-bedrooms and will come furnished and equipped with many amenities.
