The Anchor is a weekly student run newspaper for the Rhode Island College campus. The newspaper provides the campus community with information primarily regarding on campus issues, as well as world and regional news, editorials, sports news, and arts & entertainment. The paper also features lifestyles and comics sections. [1] The Anchor is published on Tuesday mornings while classes are in session and has an office in the Ducey Student Media Center. The paper has a circulation of 3,500 and is printed by MassWeb Printing Company, which is part of the Phoenix Media/Communications Group.[2]

The Anchor was established in 1928.[3]
