The Altar and the Door is Casting Crowns' third full-length studio album, which was released on August 28, 2007. It includes two cover songs, including Chandler's "I Know You're There" and Steve Fee's "All Because of Jesus."

The album debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 129,000 copies in its first week.[1]
