The Alex Treasure Hunt is the name commonly used for the Treasure Hunt from the book, The Mystery of Alex and the Greatest Dream - an armchair treasure hunt in the form of an illustrated fantasy novel.

The treasure hunt involves four character - Alex, Jessica, Janco and Harry - that are on a quest into the dreamless lands to find the greatest dream. Within that story and the illustrations of it, clues are hidden as to what the Greatest Dream is. Knowledge of the Greatest Dream leads to the discovery of the Treasure (a $500 000 prize).

The treasure is estimated at $500 000, and will be distributed between the first four people that correctly solves the mystery. To date, the answer has not yet been found - some Armchair Treasure hunts goes on for years without being solved, and many are never.
